1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Liftmad regarding your use of the Services. By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Description of Service
Liftmad is a workout logging and fitness tracking application designed to help users record exercises, sets, reps, weights, and monitor progress over time. Features may include workout templates, rest timers, strength analytics, exercise database, data export, and cloud synchronization via Firebase.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Not use the Services to violate any applicable law or infringe the rights of others
- Not attempt to interfere with the app's functionality, security, or infrastructure
4. Subscription & Billing
Liftmad may offer free and paid subscription tiers. If you purchase a subscription:
- Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Cancellations must be made through your platform account settings (iOS Settings or Google Play)
- Refunds are governed by Apple's or Google's respective refund policies
Liftmad does not directly process payment information. All billing is managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). For refund requests, please contact your platform's support directly.
5. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your workout data belongs to you — we do not claim ownership of fitness data you enter into the app. You may export or delete your data at any time through the app settings.
6. Intellectual Property
Liftmad, its name, logo, and all content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to UI design, code, graphics, and text — are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time via the app settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law — will remain in effect.
8. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liftmad and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Health Disclaimer: Liftmad is a logging tool, not a medical or fitness advice platform. Always consult a qualified professional before beginning any exercise program. We are not liable for injuries or health issues resulting from workouts.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction in the territory where Liftmad operates.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will post revised Terms with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
